Dollar Energy Fund was the recipient of a $183, 436.00 donation from Entergy in Arkansas on Friday, July 25, 2014.  The donation was made during the Arkansas Travelers’ game at Dickey-Stephens Park in Little Rock, AR.

Tom Kennedy, Vice President of Public Affairs for Entergy, presented a check to Dan O’Brien, Dollar Energy Fund’s Business Development Manager.  The funds will be used to support the Power to Care Program, which is administered by Dollar Energy Fund as part of its Arkansas Utility Assistance Program.  The program provides eligible customers with a utility assistance grant applied directly to their Entergy electric bill. This grant helps limited-income customers, specifically those who are either age 60+ or disabled, maintain or restore their basic electric service.
