Depending on where you live, how many people are in your household and how much money you make, you may be eligible for assistance. Contact your utility company for additional information on the specific programs they have available.

Neighbor to Neighbor Program

AEP Ohio and Dollar Energy Fund have teamed up to offer assistance to our neighbors in need. The Neighbor to Neighbor Program assists low-income AEP Ohio customers who have difficulty paying their electric bill. Eligible customers will receive a utility assistance grant applied directly to their AEP Ohio bill.

Home Energy Assistance Program

HEAP is a federally funded program designed to help low-income Ohio households meet their home heating costs.

 

 

Percentage of Income Payment Plan

PIPP is provides a payment arrangement for your gas and electric bills based on a percentage of your household income.
