Need Help?

Are you having difficulty affording safe utility service? There are programs that may be available to help. Depending on where you live, how many people are in your household and how much money you make, you may be eligible for assistance. Contact your utility company for additional information on the specific programs they have available.

Neighbor to Neighbor Program

AEP-SWEPCO and Dollar Energy Fund have teamed up to offer assistance to our neighbors in need. The Neighbor to Neighbor Texas Utility Assistance Program helps low-income AEP-SWEPCO customers who have difficulty paying their electric bill. Eligible customers will receive a utility assistance grant applied directly to their AEP-SWPECO bill.

Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP)

The Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) is a federally funded program administered through the Department of Housing & Community Affairs. This program is designed to provide assistance to low-income Texas households with their heating and cooling bills.
