Neighbor to Neighbor Program:
- Provides a grant directly to your AEP Ohio utility account
- Income Guidelines: at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines
Am I eligible?
- Is your AEP Ohio service off or in threat of termination? The Neighbor to Neighbor Program can assist customers with a terminated service status or those whose service is in threat of termination. While the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) is open, the Neighbor to Neighbor Program will assist customers whose service is off.
- Use our Income Calculator to find out if you qualify based on income. Customers who are eligible for the Neighbor to Neighbor Program will have gross (before tax) income that is between 0 percent and 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines.
- Have you made a sincere effort to pay your AEP Ohio bill? To be eligible, you must have paid at least $100 in the 90 days prior to applying for the Neighbor to Neighbor Program.
