Can anyone get money for their utility bills?
No, Dollar Energy Fund follows the Federal Poverty Guidelines in awarding grants to clients. Income guidelines are posted on the Grant Brochure.

I want to donate, how do I do that?
You donate one, or all, of three ways. First, a direct online donation is the fastest and most efficient way to help. The second option available is to send a check to Dollar Energy Fund at PO Box 42329, Pittsburgh, PA 15203. The third option is to include a dollar or whatever is comfortable with your monthly utility bills. Your utility bill will then automatically include that donation and the company will forward your donation to us.

I need help with my utility bills, how do I get it?
We recommend you talk with your utility provider. Contact their Universal Service Center and speak with one of their representatives. They will be able to qualify you and begin the process of applying for assistance.

I need help with other things, food, shelter, childcare, where do I go?
We recommend you contact an agency in your area. These agencies partner with Dollar Energy Fund and are full service agencies who approach clients needs in a holistic manner.
