Chad Quinn Chief Executive Officer
Chad Quinn joined Dollar Energy Fund as Director of Development in 2006, and also served as the Chief Operating Officer before becoming Chief Executive Officer in 2013. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and brings approximately 11 years of business development and sales management experience to Dollar Energy Fund. Chad is responsible for expanding our programs and services by recruiting new utility partners and expanding our current business activities with our existing utility partners. In 2014, he was selected by the Pittsburgh Business Times to receive a Fast Tracker Award, which honors leaders in the Pittsburgh Area who are under the age of 40.
Nick Meddis Chief Financial Officer
Nick Meddis is the Chief Financial Officer for Dollar Energy Fund. He has been with the organization since 1986. Prior to Dollar Energy Fund, he worked in the Audit Department of Walt Disney World. Nick is responsible for budgeting, overseeing investments, financial reporting, and the overall internal operations of the organization. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, and Accounting from Thiel College. In 2007, Nick was named a CFO of the Year Finalist by the Pittsburgh Business Times.
Sean Smiles Chief Information Officer
As the Chief Information Officer at Dollar Energy Fund, Sean is responsible for the management of the organization’s technical capacity, analytical and functional operations and a growing IT staff. In addition, Sean has created a Software as a Service product line comprised of custom systems that support the administration of low-income utility assistance programs. Sean possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems and Computer Science from Thiel College. He was a recipient of the Pittsburgh Technology Council’s 2009 CIO of the Year award.
Sarah Kirk Director of Accounting
Sarah joined Dollar Energy Fund in October 2006 as Staff Accountant to increase core capabilities in operations. She has been working with accounting and business management in non-profit human service organizations since 1990. Sarah has a Certificate in Management of Non-Profit Organizations from Robert Morris University and earned a Six Sigma Black Belt from Heritage Valley Health Systems.
Cindy McQuaide Director of Programs, Greensburg
Cindy McQuaide has been with Dollar Energy Fund since 1999 and brings more than 27 years of experience in working in the low-income, non-profit arena to the organization. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Seton Hill University. In 2007, Cindy was presented with the Westmoreland County “Everyday Hero” award.
Jody Robertson Director of Communications
Jody has been with the organization since October 2010 and is responsible for public relations and fundraising activities. She has worked in the communications field for over 11 years, focusing on media relations, community affairs, communications writing and event planning. Jody holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising from Point Park University. She is a member of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.
Mary Sally Director of Programs, Pittsburgh
Mary joined Dollar Energy Fund in August of 2002 bringing almost 30 years of call center experience. Presently, she is responsible for managing the Hardship Program, as well as other limited-income programs for partner utility companies. Mary’s previous experience was in retail credit and collections, where she worked as both a manager and a trainer.
Lisa Stoebener Director of Human Resources
Lisa Stoebener joined Dollar Energy in 2009. She is responsible for all Human Resource functions including benefits, recruiting, and employee relations. In 2010, Lisa passed her HR certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Lisa received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Westminster College and her MBA from Robert Morris University. Lisa has 11 years of HR experience with a focus in recruiting and employee relations. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the Westmoreland Human Resources Association (WHRA). Lisa was selected as a 2012 Human Resource Leadership Awards winner by the Pittsburgh Business Times.
Lindsay Mulvihill Director of Business Development
Lindsay Mulvihill joined the Dollar Energy Fund as Director of Business Development in February 2016. Lindsay is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of Dollar Energy Fund’s service offerings while acting as a liaison to all contracted utility partners. Lindsay comes from a sport industry background and has nine years of experience in sales, activation and marketing. Lindsay has a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Slippery Rock University and a Master’s degree in Sport Management from The University of Southern Mississippi. She is also on the Board of Directors for PUMPed to Run, a downtown Pittsburgh-based running club composed of local homeless shelters and PSL volunteer mentors.
