As the Chief Operations Officer at Dollar Energy Fund, Alan Michel is responsible for the leadership of the organization’s Contact Center and management of program activities. Alan has three decades of experience in customer service, project management, and regulatory compliance in the utility sector. His most recent role was Director of Customer Policy and Advocacy at FirstEnergy Corp in Akron, OH. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Akron concentrating on Finance, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University concentrating on purchasing/materials management and production/operations management.

Jody Robertson, Dollar Energy Fund’s Director of Communications, is responsible for public relations, communications and outreach activities, and serves as the organization’s media spokesperson. Her experience includes media relations, community affairs, communications writing, editing, grant writing and event planning. Jody holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising from Point Park University. She is a member of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.

As Senior Director of Business Strategy at Dollar Energy Fund, Jessica Gunjak focuses on driving strategic initiatives that enhance our operational efficiency, expand partnerships, and optimize program impact to better serve our mission. Jessica has experience in community and public relations, event planning and communications from both the profit and non-profit sectors. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Bethany College and Master’s degree in Business Administration from Waynesburg University.

Dan Caponi, Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for the overall operations of the accounting department at Dollar Energy Fund. His prior experience includes his role as a manager for Maher Duessel, a Pittsburgh based public accounting firm specializing in audits of governments and not-for-profit organizations. While at Maher Duessel, Dan served as a member of the Government Finance Accountability Office’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report review committee. Dan is a licensed certified public accountant in the state of Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, with a minor in Economics.

As Chief Human Resources Officer, Lisa Stoebener is responsible for all Human Resource functions including benefits, recruiting, and employee relations. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the Pittsburgh Human Resources Association (PHRA). Lisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Westminster College, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Robert Morris University and has earned a certificate as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). In 2012, she was selected as a Human Resource Leadership Awards winner by the Pittsburgh Business Times.
