Warm Your Hearth, Touch a Heart Kick-Off Reception

November 1, 2018 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Hearth & Home Furnishings in Zelienople

Hearth & Home Furnishings and Peoples are teaming up for the 10th Annual Warm Your Hearth, Touch a Heart Campaign to help local, limited-income households maintain or restore basic gas utility service. The kick-off reception will feature raffles, music, food, beverages, a silent auction and more! Following the reception, Hearth & Home Furnishings will donate a portion of their sales to Dollar Energy Fund’s Hardship Program. Peoples will match the donation and all funds will be used to help limited-income families in Butler County stay warm this winter.

Winter Warm Up Request-A-Thon

Tune in on November 13 & 14, 2018 from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. on 94.5 3WS

Dollar Energy Fund will be the beneficiary of the Winter Warm-Up Request-A-Thon, a two-day radio event to raise funds for families struggling to stay warm. In exchange for a donation, listeners can make any song request on 94.5 3WS throughout the two days. Donation incentives will be offered and all dollars will be matched by our utility partners and participating sponsors.

Shadrack’s Winter Wonderland

November 16, 2018 through January 6, 2019 at Big Butler Fairgrounds

Every year, Shadrack’s spreads Christmas cheer in Butler County by hosting a spectacular drive-through light attraction at Big Butler Fairgrounds. For the second year, Dollar Energy Fund is proud to be the presenting sponsor and benefiting charity of Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland. Bring your family, join the fun and support our mission of helping limited-income families this winter.

Cool Down for Warmth

January 24 & 25, 2019 from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Market Square in Downtown Pittsburgh

Dollar Energy Fund will host its 5th Annual Cool Down for Warmth event in Market Square at the end of January. The annual fundraiser will feature a massive ice house to raise funds and awareness for our local neighbors without heat during the winter months. During the two-day event, supporters will converge on Market Square to tour the house, grab lunch during the Bowls for Warmth Soup Tasting, and help raise money through crowdfunding.
