Leadership Team

Dollar Energy Fund’s leadership team is dedicated to fulfilling the organization’s mission and serving its clients. Their combined experience and vision has fueled the growth and continued success of the organization.

Chad Quinn Chief Executive Officer

Chad Quinn joined Dollar Energy Fund as Director of Development in 2006, and also served as the Chief Operating Officer before becoming Chief Executive Officer in 2013. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and brings approximately 12 years of business development and sales management experience to Dollar Energy Fund. Chad is responsible for expanding our programs and services by recruiting new utility partners and expanding our current business activities with our existing utility partners. In 2014, he was selected by the Pittsburgh Business Times to receive a Fast Tracker Award, which honors leaders in the Pittsburgh Area who are under the age of 40.

Sean Smiles Chief Information Officer

As the Chief Information Officer at Dollar Energy Fund, Sean is responsible for the management of the organization’s technical capacity, analytical and functional operations and an experienced IT staff. In addition, Sean has created a Software as a Service product line comprised of custom systems that support the administration of low-income utility assistance programs. His status as a software design architect and project manager has been honed through more than 24 years of experience in the information technology field. Sean possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems and Computer Science from Thiel College. He was a recipient of the Pittsburgh Technology Council’s 2009 CIO of the Year award.

Lisa Stoebener Chief Human Resources Officer

Lisa Stoebener joined Dollar Energy in 2009. She is responsible for all Human Resource functions including benefits, recruiting, and employee relations. In 2010, Lisa passed her HR certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Lisa received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Westminster College and her MBA from Robert Morris University. Lisa has 12 years of HR experience with a focus in recruiting and employee relations. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the Westmoreland Human Resources Association (WHRA). Lisa was selected as a 2012 Human Resource Leadership Awards winner by the Pittsburgh Business Times.

Dan Caponi Chief Financial Officer

Dan Caponi is the Chief Financial Officer for Dollar Energy Fund.  He has been with the organization since 2018.  Prior to arriving at Dollar Energy Fund, Dan worked as a Manager for Maher Duessel, a Pittsburgh based public accounting firm specializing in audits of governments and not-for-profit organizations.  While at Maher Duessel, Dan served as a member of the Government Finance Accountability Office’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report review committee. Dan is responsible for the overall operations of the accounting function at Dollar Energy Fund.  Dan is a licensed certified public accountant in the state of Pennsylvania and holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, with a minor in Economics.

Jody Robertson Director of Communications

Jody has been with the organization since 2010 and is responsible for public relations, communications and outreach activities, and serves as Dollar Energy Fund’s media spokesperson. Her experience in the communications field includes media relations, community affairs, communications writing and event planning. Jody holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising from Point Park University. She is a member of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.

Lindsay Mulvihill Director of Business Development

Lindsay Mulvihill joined Dollar Energy Fund as Director of Business Development in 2016. Lindsay is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of Dollar Energy Fund’s service offerings while acting as a liaison to all contracted utility partners.  Lindsay comes from a sport industry background and has 10 years of experience in sales, activation and marketing.  Lindsay has a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Slippery Rock University and a Master’s degree in Sport Management from The University of Southern Mississippi.

Jessica Gunjak Director of Fundraising

Jessica joined Dollar Energy Fund as the Director of Fundraising in 2016. Her responsibilities include directing fundraising campaigns for our utility partners, coordinating fundraising events in Pittsburgh and other markets as well as serving as the liaison to many of Dollar Energy Fund’s strategic partners.  Jessica brings over 11 years of experience in community and public relations, event planning and communications from both the profit and non-profit sectors.  A graduate of Bethany College, Jessica has her bachelor’s degree in communications and from Waynesburg University, a master’s degree in business administration.
