Dollar Energy Fund is pleased to announce that it was selected as one of Pittsburgh’s Top Workplaces for 2016 and also recognized with a Top Workplaces Special Award for best benefits package by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Our surveyed employees showed appreciation for their medical, dental, and vision plans in addition to retirement funds, life insurance and disability coverage. In fact, our employees believe their benefits package is better than those of other companies in the same industry. That is one reason Dollar Energy Fund is ranked as one of the best small businesses to work for the third consecutive year!

The awards were presented during the 2016 Top Workplaces Reception, which was held at Duquesne University’s Power Center Ballroom on Wednesday, August 17. We are so honored to have been selected for these awards, especially because our employees were the judges!

The Top Workplaces are based solely on employee feedback collected from a survey, which was conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a premier provider of employee feedback and performance improvement solutions designed to help senior leaders build and sustain a top workplace that drives bottom-line results. Several aspects of workplace culture were measured, including alignment, effectiveness, connection, and leadership, just to name a few.

According to Doug Claffey, CEO of WorkplaceDynamics, “Time and time again, our research has proven that what’s most important to them is a strong belief in where the organization is headed, how it’s going to get there, and the feeling that everyone is in it together.”

Dollar Energy Fund continues to strive for a healthy and unified workplace for all of its employees. We offer competitive benefits and compensation packages, as well as paid holidays, birthdays  and vacations.

“As an employee, I feel valued. I receive a very fair wage and the benefit package is insurmountable. Even for-profit corporations can’t compare their benefits to the ones offered by Dollar Energy Fund,” one employee wrote in response to the survey question about why staffers love their jobs. Another employee wrote, “I am appreciated at work, given opportunities to grow and earn a bonus each quarter. I know my health insurance is there for me if I get ill.”
