Customer Service Week is a chance to celebrate the importance of customer service and award the people who serve and support clients on a daily basis. The occasion is celebrated annually during the first week in October. Coincidentally, Customer Service Week always falls on the first full week of Dollar Energy Fund’s new program year. This gives our organization a fantastic opportunity to show appreciation to the amazing team in our call center as they work hard to provide limited-income families with grant assistance.
Our call center professionals went above and beyond to answer more than 48,000 calls over the past six months. The significant efforts of our customer service representatives sometimes goes unnoticed while dealing with households who are facing a financial struggle. During Customer Service Week, Dollar Energy Fund likes to pay special attention to our amazing team and remind them that they are appreciated.
Dollar Energy Fund’s HR team planned activities for each day this week to recognize the heroes in our call center.
On Monday, our team enjoyed a catered lunch from Moe’s.
On Tuesday, CSR’s received 10-minute back and neck massages during their breaks.
On Wednesday, supervisors surprised each Dollar Energy Fund employee with a special gift of appreciation.
On Thursday, staff enjoyed ice cream!
Finally, a hot breakfast was delivered to our team on Friday.
