Dollar Energy Fund is excited to welcome Alan Michel as our new Chief Operations Officer. With an extensive background in customer service and operations management, Alan brings a proven track record of strategic leadership that will drive operational efficiency and foster growth within the organization.
As the Chief Operations Officer at Dollar Energy Fund, Alan Michel will be responsible for the leadership of the organization’s Contact Center and management of program activities. He will work directly with the Contact Center staff to develop a clear vision and translate the organization’s mission into realistic goals and objectives. He will manage utility company relationships, on-board new programs, manage workflow and ensure the organization’s resources are used in such a way as to maximize benefits to the individuals and communities we serve.
Alan has three decades of experience in the utility sector. His most recent role was Director of Customer Policy and Advocacy at FirstEnergy Corp in Akron, OH. While at FirstEnergy, Alan successfully managed external relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes with customers, stakeholders, suppliers, and regulators.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Akron concentrating on Finance, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University concentrating on purchasing/materials management and production/operations management.
