Warm Your Hearth, Touch a Heart raises more than $6,000

The 7th Annual Warm Your Hearth, Touch a Heart Kickoff Reception, held Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015, at Hearth and Home Furnishings in Zelienople, Pa., was a great success. With music and delicious refreshments provided by the Springfield Grille and wine by Mazza Vineyards, the 100 event attendees cheerfully mingled in the showroom.

They browsed more than 60 ticket and silent auction items, many of which were donated from local restaurants and organizations including Cliffords Restaurant, Comcast Cable, Diehl Auto, First Watch, Holistic Houndry, Jennifer Petrisek, Lernerville Speedway, Peoples TWP, Premier Designs Jewelry, Prima Capelli Salon, Smardt Equipment, The Enchanted Olive and The Strand Theatre. Lernerville Speedway, Goodfello’s Restaurant, Mazza and Dollar Bank generously donated items and gift cards for door prizes.

In total, the event raised more than $3,000, which will be matched by Peoples TWP for a fundraising total of $6,000.

The kickoff reception is part of a larger fundraising campaign; beginning at the kickoff event through the end of the year, Hearth and Home Furnishings will donate a portion of their gas fireplace sales to Dollar Energy Fund. The store also generously donates proceeds from their Eggfest to Dollar Energy Fund – which raised approximately $2,600, including a match from Peoples TWP, this year.
