18th Annual Warmathon

For almost two decades, Dollar Energy Fund’s Warmathon has raised critical funds to provide utility assistance for Western Pennsylvania families in need. Over the years, the campaign has generated more than $3.3 million to ensure that our neighbors do not have to face a winter without safe utility service.

This year, we are expanding that effort, giving our supporters more opportunities to help Dollar Energy Fund and their neighbors in need during the coldest months of the year. The winter fundraising campaign will conclude with our annual radiothon on February 12, 2026, with Marty Griffin on KDKA NewsRadio, where we’ll celebrate the generosity of our supporters and work together to raise the final dollars needed to warm even more homes.

Tune in on February 12

Tune in to KDKA NewsRadio (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) on February 12th from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. to learn more about Dollar Energy Fund and how your support helps Pittsburgh-area families stay warm. Call 1-800-823-WARM during the event and a volunteer will assist you with your donation. A variety of donation incentives will be announced during the broadcast.

All donations will receive a dollar-for-dollar match from our partnering utility companies and 100% of the donations and matching funds will be used to provide utility assistance grants to local families in need through Dollar Energy Fund’s Hardship Program.

Become a Neighborhood Hero

A donation of $180, made in installments of $15/month or with a one-time donation, will make you a Neighborhood Hero! A $180 donation automatically turns into $360 in assistance once matched by our utility partners. This amount is equal to Dollar Energy Fund’s average heating grant amount and is enough to keep the utility service on for a household in need this season. Your support at this level will enter you in a drawing to win FREE UTILITY SERVICE FOR ONE YEAR, as well as other amazing prizes!
