To begin a new enrollment, re-enrollment or recertification for FirstEnergy PCAP, you will leave Dollar Energy Fund’s website and be redirected to FirstEnergy’s PA Bill Assist website.
PA Bill Assist is for customers who are not eligible for a hardship grant from Dollar Energy Fund. If you need hardship grant to stop a termination or to start service, DO NOT go to PA Bill Assist. Instead, apply for the Dollar Energy Fund hardship grant through the MyApp portal.
Only continue on to PA Bill Assist if you meet the following requirements:
Need to complete a new enrollment, re-enrollment or recertification for FirstEnergy PCAP
Have a household income at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines
Are not eligible for a hardship grant from Dollar Energy Fund
