Get Help Paying Your Water Bill

For 35 years, Pennsylvania American Water has helped eligible customers reduce their water and wastewater bills through the H2O – Help to Others Program.

In partnership with Dollar Energy Fund, qualifying households can receive meaningful financial assistance, often saving hundreds of dollars each year.

Available Assistance:

• Up to $500 in grants
• 30% – 90% off monthly water service charges
• 20% – 90% off charges for the water you use
• 37% – 85% off monthly wastewater charges
• $25 forgiven from past-due balances

Finding out if you’re eligible is quick and easy.

Customers with household incomes at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines (FPIG) may qualify.

Check your income
Use our Income Calculator to find your FPIG level.
Include before-tax income for all adult household members (excluding minors).

• Customers between 200-250% FPIG are eligible for grants.
• Customers at or below 200% FPIG are eligible for grants and bill discounts.
