January 30th, 2017
Once again this year, we’re teaming up with the Pittsburgh-area Dunkin’ Donuts to help even more families get warm this winter. Come see us in Market Square on either Tuesday, January 31, or Wednesday, February 1, during the hours of the Cool Down for Warmth and donate $5 to Dollar Energy Fund to receive a coupon for a medium cup of coffee ($2.50 value) at a participating Pittsburgh Dunkin’ Donuts location.
A $50 donation will earn you 20 coffees. You don’t have to donate the $50 on the spot, either. We encourage you to set up your own personal fundraiser on our CrowdRise page. As long as you raise the $50 or more during the two-day Cool Down for Warmth event, you can enjoy 20 free coffees ($2.50 value each) from participating Pittsburgh Dunkin’ locations.
So, look at it this way: if you’re coming down to Market Square for a cup of coffee anyway, you might as well donate to Dollar Energy Fund in the process to help local, limited-income families restore or maintain their utility service.
Not a coffee drinker? We have many other ways to participate in Market Square! Come see the ice house, sample soups for lunch, enjoy happy hour specials and much more. Check out the full Cool Down for Warmth schedule, and follow us on Twitter and Facebook for updates.
Your contribution directly supports an individual or family facing a utility crisis.
