The FAN Golf Classic to benefit Dollar Energy Fund was held on Friday, June 27, 2014, at Quicksilver Golf Club in Midway, PA. The day included 18 holes of golf, lunch, dinner, contests, raffles, a silent auction and more. Ron Cook and Andrew Fillipponi from SportsRadio 93.7 The FAN broadcast live from the event. Over 85 golfers and guests attended.
The foursome with the best score of the day was comprised of Todd Patterson, Gary Seiber, Jim Trusilo and John Susalla from Think Communications, Inc. They each received a car detail by The MAD Unit and a gift certificate to Quicksilver’s Pro Shop.
New this year, the outing featured the 1st Annual Utility Cup, where foursomes sponsored by our utility partners competed to win bragging rights amongst their peers and a $1,000 contribution to support their customers through Dollar Energy Fund’s Hardship Program. The 2014 Utility Cup winner is Peoples. Members of the winning foursome were William Rolland, William Roberts, Steve Kolich and Walter “Bud” Herald.
