Dollar Energy Fund’s Pennsylvania Hardship Program provides one-time assistance grants to Valley Energy customers that are applied directly to their utility bill. Funding is available on a first come, first serve basis and eligibility requirements vary based on the utility company. Program guidelines and eligibility requirements are subject to change.
If applicants are eligible and programs are open, applicants must apply for LIHEAP and CRISIS before applying for the Dollar Energy Fund Hardship Program.
Applicants must have paid at least $100 on their accounts in the past three months. Senior Citizens, age 62 and over, must have paid at least $50 on their accounts.
Applicants must have an outstanding balance on their utility bill of at least $100.

Notification will be sent to the customer advising them that their application was denied and that an additional payment is required in order to be considered for assistance.

Grants are dispersed on a first come, first serve basis to eligible applicants while funding is available.
Applicants must have paid at least $60 on their AES Indiana account in the 3 months prior to applying for a grant.
LIHEAP assistance and pledges made on the applicant’s behalf or other grants may be counted toward the sincere effort of payment.
Applicants must have an outstanding balance on their AES Indiana bill of at least $50.
The maximum grant amount an applicant may receive is $240.

Open from June 1, 2025, through May 31, 2026, to all eligible applicants regardless of service status.
Grants are dispersed on a first come, first serve basis to eligible applicants while funding is available.
There is no minimum balance requirement.
The maximum grant amount an applicant may receive depends on their household income compared to the Connecticut State Median Income (SMI).

如果客户的公共事业服务在申请时已停止或者面临终止,而最高补助金额不能恢复服务或阻止服务终止,则申请会被拒绝。恢复服务或阻止服务终止所需的金额由公共事业服务审核确定。会给客户发送通知,告知他们申请被拒绝,且必须补交账单才会被纳入援助考虑。
所有申请人必须提供收入证明。
符合收入条件的客户必须在联邦资助计划开放时申请所有计划。
账户必须为住宅、独立住宅或公寓。不支持“仅烹饪”、商业、工业设施或共享公共事业服务的公寓。
账户户名必须是当前居住在房屋中的成年人。
Dollar Energy Fund补助金不能用于支付押金或重新入户费用。
